Join former Monk Nick Kientsch in a 4-week stress reduction and mental health support program with daily practices and guided meditations.
We are excited to bring you this four week programme for reducing stress, boosting wellbeing and supporting mental health, led by former Monk, Nick Kientsch.
Caring for our mental health will help to build the ability to withstand stress and lessen the unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour that can lead to stress, anxiety and worry. Over these four weeks we explore a mix of short daily practices you can incorporate into your routine alongside longer guided meditations.
Each session is self-contained so participants can come to a single session or select the ones they wish to attend, or come to all 4.
Nick Kientsch is a former Buddhist monk, with over 30 years of experience practicing and teaching meditation and mindfulness. His work now centres around supporting people’s mental health, in particular those in the LGBTQ+ community.
“This session has been life changing. You delivered it to us with such intelligence, sensitivity and compassion for your fellow human beings. You made mindfulness real and human, related to the pain, feelings of not belonging, of isolation or inadequacy that we may feel in life and then taught me how through mindfulness I could have a choice and find freedom from suffering.”
