Our Inner Loneliness

In Josh's session, explore the roots of loneliness, learn self-acceptance, and gain tools to support oneself and others through loneliness.

In this session, Josh gives his view on why so many of us experience loneliness, despite seemingly being well connected and with good support groups.

Josh argues that much of loneliness is driven by how much of ourselves we are able to share with people, not just by how many people we have around us. Feelings of being alone, even in a crowded room are common, and usually come from a place of being unable to share who we really are.

In this session Josh will:

  • Give participants an understanding of why feelings of loneliness can arise.
  • Ways to start to accept who we are and celebrate them, so we can start to share our authentic selves
  • Tools to support others in your life that might be experiencing loneliness.
