Deep dive into dyslexia, reframing understanding, embracing neurodiversity, and creating accessible environments for better support and inclusion.
This workshop is a deep dive into what dyslexia really is, where it came from, how it shows up and how to support it. We will unpick misconceptions and reframe our understanding of dyslexia.
This session will not only provide dyslexics with a better understanding of how their brain works, but will also enable themselves and everyone around them to better support dyslexia and create accessible environments. The workshops is a process that will shift participants from the deficit based thinking of dyslexia to an asset based approach.
